Every hand is a string of calls
Each turn in Paohuzi is a trade-off: chow, pong, wei, ti or pao, with hand shape and hu-xi points counted together. DeepLab AI is built specifically for Paohuzi.
Chow
When nobody pongs or paos a discarded or drawn card, you may combine it with your hand into a set and lay it down.
Pong
If you hold a pair of the card another player discards or draws, you may pong it.
Wei · Ti · Pao
Drawing a card that matches a pair or triplet in hand means wei or ti; making four from another player’s card lets you pao.
Hu-xi points
Pong, wei, pao and ti all score hu-xi, with big and small cards scoring differently; you need enough hu-xi to win.
